About the story
Leen and Zayn are childhood best friends living in a small Lebanese community. When Leen begins investigating a series of incidents involving people who have gone missing, the two stumble onto a hidden operation connected to them. Their investigation brings them into contact with Issa, a former military officer who is also looking into the operation. Together, they work to uncover what is happening and help the people caught in it.

What I worked on
Developed each character by first defining their personalities, interests, and individual sense of style. Researched outfit references and created moodboards to explore clothing, accessories, and styling that felt appropriate for each character. I considered their personalities, practical needs, and personal tastes when developing each outfit, putting myself in the character’s place to decide whether they would realistically wear it. Created character turnaround sketches, then developed their wardrobes by doing outfit and accessory explorations. Currently completed Issa’s character sheet and wardrobe, with the remaining characters to be developed as the project continues.

Issa’s wardrobe focuses on comfort, practicality, quality, and sustainability. His relaxed layers, muted colors, natural materials, and mineral-inspired accessories reflect his environmental values and quieter personality.
Zayn’s style is minimal, practical, and understated, with well-fitted pieces in darker and neutral tones. His wardrobe reflects his preference for comfort, quality, and functionality over trends or flashy details.
Leen’s style combines comfortable streetwear with feminine details, color, and statement accessories. Her darker biker-inspired outfits bring out a more practical and edgy side of her personality.
I chose this outfit to balance movement, comfort, and practicality for Issa’s summer military outfit. The compression shirt and relaxed cargo pants allow him to move comfortably while maintaining a structured military look. I also chose to leave out his communication earpiece, reflecting his preference for being fully present and actively listening to those around him. Leaving his scar visible without the mask also shows a more vulnerable side of Issa.
This project taught me how to use clothing and small visual details to communicate more about a character without directly explaining it. I learned to consider their personality, lifestyle, interests, and environment when designing their wardrobe. I also learned how to create outfit variations while keeping each character visually recognizable and consistent. Exploring different silhouettes, materials, accessories, and seasonal outfits helped me understand how fashion can become part of a character's storytelling.
